Victoria has been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2005. She also spent 17 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. She has been employed by the Canadian National Wrestling Team since 2011. Her time in the military and as an Athletic Therapist has led her to 18 different countries. She has been to five Pan-American Championships, two Wrestling World Championships, Nationals for Olympic Lifting, Commonwealth Games and numerous other international open tournaments.
Victoria takes aspiring students that are interested in becoming Athletic Therapists and provides placement hours to help them gain their certification. She is an active volunteer in Renfrew County providing Athletic Therapy services at local races for the last decade. You may see her and the other VC Athletic Therapy staff and students on the Ottawa river, on the Algonquin trail or at the Petawawa Terrace enjoying the beautiful dynamic nature we have all come to love.
Growing up she has always been involved in sports. A sports related injury in high school led her to Physiotherapy which sparked the interest in the athletic/health care field. Shortly after she was introduced to Athletic Therapy and knew that was her passion.
Nina recently graduated from Sheridan College (Honours Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Athletic Therapy) and moved back home to the Ottawa Valley to pursue her career and be close to family. Additionally, she gained a certificate in creativity and problem solving.
Throughout her schooling she had many opportunities to work with different sports teams and post secondary institutions including:
◦ Sheridan College - women’s soccer
◦ Toronto Metropolitan University- women’s soccer as well as women’s & males volleyball
◦ University of Toronto- women’s rugby and basketball
With the occasional coverage in football and hockey.
Most common injuries seen - concussion, ACL sprain/tear as well as ankle injuries.
Expertise include proficiency taping outdoors, working on the fly, managing multiple athletes, and communicating with all parties (coaches, doctors, athletes, etc.).
A Chiropractor since 2019, Dr. Drew Martinow graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He also holds a Bachelors of Kinesiology with Honours and First Class Standing from Brock University in St. Catherine’s Ontario.
Combining manual therapy with his diverse rehab background, is motivated to help his patients live healthy, pain-free lives. Dr. Martinow is also certified in:

Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, Dr. Kristin Ling learned the benefits of living healthy through sports and the outdoors. Dr. Ling graduated from Laurentian University with a Bachelor’s of Physical and Health Education with a concentration in Health Promotion.
With a lifelong interest in Chiropractic and health care, Dr. Ling earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. At school, she gained additional experience while she provided chiropractic care at the Aptus Children’s Centre for children who have developmental disabilities.
Dr. Ling enjoys working with people of all ages and activity levels. She finds working in pediatric, pre- and post-natal care especially rewarding.
Her patients enjoy a patient-centered, evidence-based approach which includes:

· Soft Tissue Therapy

She is also well versed in a number of techniques including Activator, taping and drop piece/toggle board adjusting.
Outside of the clinic you can find her hiking with her dog, doing jigsaw puzzles and taking advantage of all that the Valley has to offer!

Kristen has spent her whole career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse since graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa in 2008. Throughout the diverse experience over her nursing career, she has witnessed and lead clients through the most difficult and vulnerable parts of their lives. Through this experience, she developed her passion for mental health and wellness. This path lead her to train in various therapies to serve clients as an RN Psychotherapist in this important but often overlooked aspect of overall health.
Kristen works with clients struggling with ADHD, Anxiety, Burnout, Depression, Chronic Pain, Overwhelm & Stress/PTSD. She has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing therapy for PTSD (CPT) and trauma-informed care as well as belief and understanding of holistic approach to healing.
Her client-lead approach offers a safe space for vulnerability and promotes finding the roots that are causing clients’ pain & struggle in order to focus on finding realistic tools and solutions. Aniela has always had a passion and a fascination for how the human body functions and how to optimize it. From a child she was physically active in many different sports and activities. Since she was a young child she knew she wanted to help people heal. She wanted to help others release pain and suffering. Aniela then further pursued her studies in human kinetics and nutrition at Queens University. A career change from school teaching took her to India where she further studied and acquired her advanced yoga teacher certification and ayurvedic practitioner, massage therapist, reflexologists, and ayurvedic nutrition. A 3 month study turned into a 5 year stay in India where she was fortunate enough to develop her studies further with different healers and therapists. Acquiring her Reiki level 1 and 2 certification, learning shiatsu, yoga massage, cranio sacral like work. Aniela managed 3 different retreat centers in the area over her time in India where she taught yoga and gave treatments to travelers from all over the world who came to the beach lined state she resided in. Her classes and treatments were compared to physio release. Her studies, capability and healing capability flourished in this time and has only continued. She was solely picked to go and study with a transformational healer/guru in Kashmir. After returning back to Canada she studied and certified in Yoga Tune Up (fascial release) and Pilates certification as well.
Her clients call her a healer and have had relief from their ailments after just one session and have had great improvements and transformations with further treatments. Her passion is to empower others to their own healing capability, purpose, gifts, love and wisdom.
In her spare time she loves time in nature, especially drawn to water and sunshine. She is currently studying expanding consciousness, opening the heart space, quantum physics and mastering your energy and kamotion qi qong.
Hayley is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated with honors from Georgian Colleges Accredited Massage Therapy Program (2021). She is registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She’s passionate about helping clients reach their ultimate well being, and focuses on providing evidence-based care to help people meet their goals and feel the best they can!
Hayley is comfortable treating people of all ages and fitness levels, and tailors each treatment to the unique needs of each individual. She treat’s using a variety of techniques including but not limited to Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Techniques, and Therapeutic Exercises.
Outside of work, you can find Hayley nose deep in a good book or out in the woods with her dog.
