Victoria Cleary, CAT(C)

Victoria has been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2005. She also spent 17 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. She has been employed by the Canadian National Wrestling Team since 2011. Her time in the military and as an Athletic Therapist has led her to 18 different countries. She has been to five Pan-American Championships, two Wrestling World Championships, Nationals for Olympic Lifting, Commonwealth Games and numerous other international open tournaments.

Victoria takes aspiring students that are interested in becoming Athletic Therapists and provides placement hours to help them gain their certification. She is an active volunteer in Renfrew County providing Athletic Therapy services at local races for the last decade. You may see her and the other VC Athletic Therapy staff and students on the Ottawa river, on the Algonquin trail or at the Petawawa Terrace enjoying the beautiful dynamic nature we have all come to love.

Audrée Dufresne, CAT (C)

Audrée has always been involved in sports and physical activity, dance being the main one. She practiced dance for 20 years and in 2016 she completed a college diploma in Contemporary Dance. In 2014 she obtained her first personal training certification and worked in several different gyms in Montreal. Through these various experiences she learned about Athletic Therapy. She realized that this profession could allow her to taker her clients all the way from A through Z. Whether it’s prescribing individualized training programs, assessing an injury on the field or rehabilitating post injury through different modalities and manual therapy techniques. She completed her B.Sc of Athletic Therapy at Concordia University in 2021. She has also recently completed her 500hrs of Swedish Massage Certification from the province of Quebec. Aside from Athletic Therapy, Audrée has also been a Reservist Medical Assistant with the CAF since 2018. She is also the creator of a VAC funded women veteran fitness program called A.T.H.E.N.A. With her recent arrival in the area, she is looking forward to many outdoor activities such as SUP, cycling, hiking and much more and embracing all that Petawawa has to offer!

Pacale D'Amours, Osteopath

Pascale is an active and dynamic professional that graduated from ENOSI Osteopathic School in Montreal in 2021. She previously studied as a paramedic technician in Quebec. Throughout these experiences, she interacted with a diverse population in emergency situations. In the last years, she undertook her studies in osteopathy in order to broaden her anatomical and physiological knowledge of the body. Thanks to these studies in the health sector, she easily brings an atmosphere of comfort and trust in her new practice as an osteopath. Her openness and curiosity make her a versatile therapist and allow her to adapt to the needs of everyone.

Skylar Nesbitt, RHN

Helping people with their nutrition has always been a passion for Skylar. In 2021 she completed her diploma at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. She has also been a military spouse since 2017 and focuses a lot of her practice to helping other military spouses and members with their health and wellness goals. She credits her husband for becoming an RHN. Skylar focuses on helping her clients through nutrition, lifestyle, stress management and sleeping techniques to assure the best overall care.  Adding a nutrition consultation onto your appointment can really benefit your health, whether you are looking for pain management, concussion care, blood sugar management, inflammation reduction, or are simply needing guidance on nutrition in general, Skylar would love to help you. Nutrition has a hand in everything, so if you are in the clinic please feel free to ask any questions you may have on how a nutrition consultation can help your health.
